A playful and anonymous slideshow of images by amateur and confirmed
photographers who contributed their best picture of the city of
their choice, to coincide with the theme of the Bamako Biennale:
"In the City and Beyond".
The show will be accompanied with a live concert by Malian band
Barou Balani.

Projection of Photo Souvenir, a film by Paul Cohen (Netherlands,
2006, 54 min): documentary on the once celebrated Niger photographer
Philippe Koudjina, who photographed Niamey by night.
Photo souvenir allows a reflexion on African photography within
Western art market and will be followed by a debate with Erika
Nimis, historian of photography and Malian photographer Harandane
Dicko.
