This film aims to correct what we consider to be an error in history: our documentary approach is in keeping with Paulin Soumanou Vieyra's first wish: to make cinema exist in Africa. In the background, we revisit the first black African film (Afrique sur Seine) by doing an autopsy of the words and images.
