History of the company Created in 2000 under the name of Association Compagnie Tã, it has taken the name of Art'Dév/Compagnie Auguste-Bienvenue in 2007, short for Association Artistique Développement/Compagnie Auguste-Bienvenue. Being under the supervision of Auguste OUEDRAOGO and Bienvenue BAZIE, the company evolves like a place of exchange and creation, as well as it undertakes a research in the domain of dance. Thanks to the simplicity and the originality of its process, notably its choreographic works such us Buudu (The Dream of the People) and Tin Souk Ka (Within here), our company has overwhelmed with surprise and enthusiasm the dance scenes all over the world. The company also brings a new view in today's African creation. Indeed, our company takes part in the training of young dancers and to the creation and the widening of a contemporary dance-sensitive public. This new initiative makes it possible to go beyond large cities in order to get in touch with local people. Currently, the Company Auguste-Bienvenue has got four choreographic creations in its repertory: - Kuum (Death), 2001; - Buudu (The Dream of the People), 2002; - Tin Souk Ka (Within here), 2005; - Traces, 2007; - Tourments Noirs (Black Agonies).
