Mason James Lee is an award-winning artist of Chinese and Fijian heritage.

Mason learnt about art at a young age and is self-taught. 

Mason was part of the Red Wave Collective at the Oceania Centre for Arts and Culture at the University of the South Pacific (OCAC) where he was resident from 1999 until 2007.  At the Centre Mason worked on some of his technique and explored different mediums.  His first solo exhibition was in 2002 at OCAC.

Mason has participated in local, regional and international art exhibitions since 2000.  His works have been exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, USA and the United Kingdom.  He has participated to several art festivals and won the Fiji National Fine Award including the portrait and landscape awards. He is one of the three painters representing Fiji Islands visual artists at Port Moresby Melanesian Arts Festival in Papua New Guinea, July 2014.
