John Taukave is a part-time dancer and musician with Rako Pasefika. He is one of the lead dancers and plays guitar, bass or drums in the band. He also sings with the group. With Rako he travelled to Australia and took part in the Dreaming Festival in 2012 and in 2014 he performed with the Group at the Homeground Festival in Sydney. Another major event John took part in was the Men Dancing Festival at the University of the South Pacific.
