As a child, Nisimere remembers dancing to any rhythm or beat played over the radio, including promotional jingles. She was inspired by her older sister, who was a former member of the Oceania Dance Theatre, to join the group after completing high school.

Nisimere believes that every young person has the ability and talent to nurture and cultivate The Arts and that it is with these gifts that we can explore and express the different dimensions of society.

Nisimere has taken part in a variety of dance productions such as Domo-Ni Carmen directed by Larry Thomas (2009), Tagimoucia (2008), and A Love for Life – Silence & HIV/AIDS for the 2nd Pacific Youth Festival in Suva, Fiji (2009). She teaches dance classes at the Oceania Centre in the evenings for ladies who are interested in contemporary Pacific dance.

Nisimere has toured to Samoa, American Samoa, China and New Caledonia entertaining, promoting and advocating on various issues faced by humanity.
